What we hold, and why.
Baaaz is a private membership, not an advertising business. We collect what the room needs to work, we show it only to people who belong here, and we hand it back or delete it when you ask.
This page is maintained by the Baaaz office. Last reviewed August 2026.

Who we are
Baaaz is run from New Delhi by the Baaaz office. For anything on this page, write to hello@baaaz.club and a person, not a queue, will answer.

What we collect
- What you tell us. Name, photograph, company, business logo, trade, city and locality, headline and bio, phone, WhatsApp, website and social links, and anything you choose to publish — offers, leads, portfolio images, reviews you write.
- What the room records. Messages you send to other members, meeting RSVPs, speaker applications, contracts and deal values you log, referrals you make, and notifications generated for you.
- What we log to keep it safe. Sign-in attempts, rate-limit hits and similar security events, with the IP address and browser string attached, so we can spot someone trying to break in.
- What billing needs. Membership plan, payment reference, invoice number and amount. Card details never touch our servers — they stay with our payment gateway.
3
Why we hold it
To let members find each other, to run gatherings and workshops, to send the notifications you asked for, to bill a paid membership, to keep bad actors out, and to answer you when you write in. Nothing more. We do not sell member data, and we do not rent the directory to anyone.
4
Who can see it
- Other members see your public profile — name, photo, company, logo, trade, city, headline, bio, portfolio, ratings and anything you publish.
- Contact details — phone, WhatsApp, email — are held back. They are revealed only through a deliberate action inside the app, and that reveal is recorded.
- The Baaaz office can see member records to run the membership: issue ids, correct referrals, handle reports and raise invoices.
- Nobody outside the room sees any of it, unless you publish a member website — which is public by design, and only when you press publish.

Where it lives
Member records sit in a managed Postgres database with row-level rules, so a query can only ever return rows that member is allowed to see. Uploaded images sit in private storage and are served through short-lived signed links. Payments run through Razorpay. Email is sent through our mail provider. These are our only processors.
6
How long we keep it
For as long as you are a member, and for a short tail afterwards so that contracts, invoices and disputes stay auditable. Security logs and old telemetry are pruned automatically. Cancel your membership and your profile leaves the directory immediately.
7
Your say
Write to us and we will show you everything we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete your record entirely. Most of it you can already do yourself from Profile and Billing inside the app.
8
Cookies
We set what is needed to keep you signed in and to remember small preferences, such as whether you are browsing your city or the whole network. No advertising trackers.
9
Children
Baaaz is a business membership for adults. Nobody under 18 may hold an account.

Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, members are told inside the app before it takes effect. The membership terms are set out separately in the terms and conditions.
